Hello! My name is Patrick McMahan and I am a professional Boudoir photographer traveling the world taking REMOTE BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHY. While I am an American, I consider myself to be a World Citizen and Global Ambassador. I am currently based in Mexico City, Mexico.

I absolutely love sharing my photography talent and meeting wonderful new people. Having performed in over 90 musical theatre productions, I am ready to help you break through any potential stage fright you may be feeling in front of the camera. My female assistant, María José, is present at every photo session, and is there to assist not only me, but you as well. Spanish or English, we've got you covered!
THE EXPERIENCE
COACHING
This is honestly one of my favorite parts of the process! I know that you are probably not a professional model, so I am going to coach you through the entire process. Every single pose will be directed by me, including where you are looking, how to position your hands, and when to breath. As an actor I know the power of having intention with your thoughts, as thoughts bring purpose and life to your body, your face, and especially your eyes. One thing that separates my work from many other photographers, is the focus, literally and figuratively, that I will place on your eyes.
HAIR & MAKE-UP
Professional hair and make-up is included in your session. Please arrive ready to transformed and pampered by our talented stylist. It is important that your hair and make-up reflect who you are, or who you aspire to be. There is no required heavy make-up, and you will have input as to what your look will be for your photos. It is my hope that you will allow our hair and make-up stylist to take you to a place you may be unfamiliar with, as that transformation is what we want to capture in your beautiful photos. THE REAL YOU
My philosophy about changing or modifying your images in Photoshop, or any other software, is that I do minimal modifications. If things are permanent on your body, I would prefer that they stay, as those are what make you "you'" and they map out your fantastic journey to this point. If there is something specific that you absolutely want removed, then I'm happy to discuss that with you. (If it's something temporary, then yes, I will remove it.) You will be positioned in flattering poses during the entire session. You will absolutely love the real you!
THE SPACE
Currently I am photographing sessions in a loft apartment in the Polanco neighborhood of Mexico City. The loft has a lot of natural light and a great industrial feeling. I have softened up the decor in the main areas where we will shoot, so it's a lovely combination. There are two private outside areas as well. If you would prefer that we shoot in your residence, then let's do that! If you want to pay for an Airbnb or hotel room, great. We are also willing to travel outside of Mexico City, as long as you are willing to cover our expenses.
MY BOUDOIR philosophy
I have always considered it a great honor and privilege to photograph people...groups, families, couples, or individuals. Years ago I ventured into Boudoir photography and found my true passion! Boudoir photography is much more than beautiful photos, it is an incredibly powerful and transformative medium. I very much enjoy the opportunity to interact with clients like you, and to help women truly see their inner beauty.
I have been a stage actor since I was a child, and I know and value the importance of great direction. I will help guide and direct you through the entire process. The only person that you have to be in your photoshoot, is you. (And the last time I checked, the best person in the universe at being you, is YOU!) I am a proud feminist, and I would love the opportunity to meet you to discuss any concerns that you may have about the Boudoir photography experience. I am your biggest cheerleader, and I want you to see the beauty that is within you. I would love the opportunity to capture your beauty in photography and for you to have these gorgeous photos to remind yourself how beautiful you are.
You could come up with multiple excuses why you should not do a Boudoir photography session. But I want to tell you that every excuse is just that…an excuse. We also guarantee your privacy regarding your images. If you do not want anyone else seeing your images, besides me and María José, that is absolutely fine. No images will be shared on social media, or my website, without your explicit permission and approval. Your privacy is absolutely the most precious thing to us, and we will not betray your trust. Your Boudoir experience with us is not based on the clothes that you wear in your photos. Whether you wear lingerie, or pose in any semi-nude, or nude poses, is entirely up to you. Your personal preferences will always be respected and honored, and we are here to help to guide you through the entire process. WHAT IS THE COST OF THE SESSION?
The cost of the Boudoir session experience is $4,500 pesos, which includes hair and make-up, 3 hours of photography, a pre-session consult, as well as an in-person or virtual photo reveal session.
I AM NOT A MODEL, AND I HAVE NEVER POSED IN FRONT OF A CAMERA. IS THAT A PROBLEM?
Absolutely not! The overwhelming majority of my clients are non-models, just like you! Please do not worry, María José and I will be there to help to guide you through the entire process. You just need to show up and have fun! We will take care of the posing, lighting, and the direction in order to assure that your portraits are as beautiful as possible. Our job is to make you look and feel the best you ever have, and, once again, we guarantee that you will be 100% satisfied with your experience, or we will happily return your session fee investment.
WILL MY PHOTOS BE ON INSTAGRAM, YOUR WEBSITE, OR ANYWHERE ELSE ON THE INTERNET?
No images will be shared on social media, or my website, without your explicit permission and approval. Your privacy is absolutely the most precious thing to us, and we will not betray your trust.
WILL YOU USE PHOTOSHOP TO FIX ANY PROBLEM AREAS?
If needed, yes! My hope is that through the proper use of lighting, and posing, we will be able to put you in the most flattering positions as possible. Years of experience have helped me to properly pose women of all shapes, sizes, and ages. If it turns out that there is something in your photos that you still do not love, then certainly Photoshop could potentially be used to help.
DO YOU HAVE A STUDIO?
We currently shoot in a large home loft in Polanco. The space is quite large and has incredible light. María José and I are also available to shoot in different locations like a hotel room or an Airbnb, the cost of which would be your responsibility. We are also available to photograph outside of Mexico City, assuming that you are willing to cover our travel expenses.
CAN I BRING A FRIEND?
Absolutely! We would definitely prefer to be notified beforehand, but you are more than welcome to bring a friend with you to the photoshoot.
DO YOU OFFER HAIR/MAKE-UP SERVICE?
Yes! Professional hair and make-up is included in your Boudoir experience session fee.
I AM A LITTLE CONCERNED THAT YOU’RE A MALE BOUDOIR PHOTOGRAPHER, COULD YOU ADDRESS THAT?
Of course! Believe it or not, some women actually prefer to have a male Boudoir photographer. Again, María José and I guarantee that you will absolutely love your Boudoir photography experience with us, or we will happily refund your session fee. I would also highly recommend chatting with us if you have any questions or hesitation regarding the fact that I am a male Boudoir photographer. I assure you that you will have a professional, trusting, and above all, a hilariously fun environment!
I NEED IDEAS REGARDING OUTFITS! CAN YOU HELP?
Absolutely! Whether it is help shopping in your own closet, or some ideas as to the types of clothing to best flatter your body type, we can help!
I'M NOT SURE WHETHER I WANT TO ORDER AN ALBUM OR WALL ART YET, CAN I DECIDE WHEN I SEE MY PHOTOS?
Of course! When we have our in-person, or virtual photo reveal, you will be able to see your images and we can discuss the different product options offered. Once you have decided whether or not you want to order either an album, wall art, or both, it will take a few weeks to edit the images as well as for the final products to arrive.
DO I HAVE TO BE NAKED?
No! We will have conversations about this before your session during our consultation, as well as before any photos are taken. Your level of comfort is incredibly important to the process, so you will have the final word on anything regarding your clothing, or lack of clothing. Gaining confidence throughout the photo session, does give women the ability to take more risks that they thought they would, but that will be up to you. I can assure you that beautiful Boudoir photos do not require nudity.
CAN I DRINK ALCOHOL TO RELAX AT THE SESSION?
If having a drink or two would help you to relax during the session, then absolutely! I would prefer that you limit yourself to just two, as we want to have fun, but also be able to maintain our focus.

I had the best experience I have had in photography, I am an actress and generally my photos are with a lot of makeup and false eyelashes. On this occasion, Patrick, before starting the session, told me, this time we are going to portray you like this naturally. I was a little scared hahaha because I would not put false eyelashes, I always use them since I have small eyes, the idea of ​​leaving my hair like this, (without combing) hahaha.
